How to send bitcoin to your wallet – Material Bitcoin

If you are reading this, it’s probably because you already have Bitcoin. In this step-by-step guide, you’ll discover how to send those bitcoin to your Material Bitcoin wallet.

These are the steps you need to follow:

In this guide, we will use the Coinbase exchange as an example, but the procedure is very similar for most of the exchanges.

Step 1: Sign into Coinbase

To start the process of sending any amount of bitcoin to your Material Bitcoin wallet, you first need to click on the Send/Receive button.

 

Step 2: Choose the amount of bitcoin you want to send, and which address you want to send it to.

Attention: Make sure to send your bitcoins using the “Bitcoin Network“.

At this point, the following should pop up on your screen:

Make sure to be on the “Send” tab.

Choose the option “Send BTC to” and enter your Material Bitcoin wallet address in the “To” field. You can either enter your wallet’s address manually or scan the QR code with your webcam. You can also use your mobile with the help of the Coinbase app. Then you need to choose the amount of bitcoin you wish to send.

Click “Continue” once you are done.

Check all the information to make sure everything is correct and then approve the transaction.

Now your bitcoins should be on their way to your wallet!

It may take a few minutes to confirm the transaction. To check that the funds have been deposited into your Material Bitcoin wallet, simply scan your QR-Code or enter your wallet’s address on Blockchain.com.
